The CASE CX140E is the smallest machine in our large excavator lineup, but nothing about the way it performs is little. At just under 30,000 lbs., it’s easy to transport. The new engine and hydraulics provide plenty of transient response, torque and fuel efficiency, not to mention 21,400 lbs. of breakout force. There are four working modes to suit different needs, whether it’s Super Power, Power, Eco or Lifting. The improved hydraulics allow you to customize flow priority for greater responsiveness. • The FPT engines* featured in CASE E Series excavators offer greater displacement, horsepower and torque, driving even more power and responsiveness needed for the toughest of jobs.

• Plus, they feature an innovative emissions system – a combination of diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and particulate matter catalyst technologies that provide greater fuel efficiency, systems reliability, and no lifetime after-treatment replacement or mechanical service over time. And service intervals on engine oil and filters is extended to 1,000 hours, helping simplify your preventative maintenance activities.

• Super Power (SP) functions at maximum RPMs and hydraulic flow, providing fast cycle times and optimal flow for demanding attachments.

• Power (P) mode puts adjustable control in the operator's hands with 10 different throttle settings.

• Lifting (L) is optimized for object handling. Power Boost is permanently activated with overload warning system.

• Eco (E) offers improved fuel economy, up to 5% versus Power mode.

• The console controls are now suspended with the heated high-back seat to help absorb impact and reduce fatigue. A right-side camera view displayed on the large monitor provides better visibility to exterior machine surroundings. And the improved location of vents and HVAC balance optimizes operator comfort while improving defrosting time and performance.

• The impressive 10-in. LCD display provides unprecedented access to controls, machine data and cameras. It gives the operator five configurable shortcut buttons that can be set to the most-used functions. The screen also includes HVAC controls, as well as the ability to display camera views while accessing machine data and controls at the same time – ensuring optimal visibility and jobsite awareness.

• Each CASE excavator gives you even more control over how the machine responds and works with you through a feature called Hydraulic Flow Control Balance.

• This allows you to customize the priority of hydraulic flow used for arm-in and boom-up movements, and for arm-in and swing movements. This means you can customize based on your digging or truck loading style, while still benefiting from reduced fuel consumption and maximized machine performance.
