2024 Case CE Mini Excavators CX42D

The CASE CX42D is the only zero tailswing mini excavator in its size class. That means more digging power when butted up against a wall, next to a structure or within cramped quarters. This one also pairs precision with muscle and maneuverability. Three power modes and proportional hydraulic controls allow you to dial in the machine as you like it.

• Wiggle into tight spaces and work near foundations, buildings, roadsides and around obstacles thanks to a compact design and an independent swing boom which can be offset left or right.

• Plus, these machines are available in zero tailswing, short-tail or conventional swing designs. And if you need to squeeze into backyards, the low-profile, narrow design of our smallest mini excavators allow passage through most gates and doorways.

• Whatever size outfit, these are a cinch to transport.

• Because many mini excavators have a trailer-friendly operating weight, they can be towed with a conventional pickup truck and without the need for a CDL*.

The standard multifunction auxiliary hydraulics give you the ability to use a variety of attachments.
